How Richard Gere found the woman of his life at maturity, and together they built a relationship

Richard Gere met Alejandra Silva when she was young, as the actor had borrowed a boat from her father for a shoot. However, it took several years for them to feel attracted to each other and start a romantic relationship.

The two started dating in 2014, but only in 2018 did they decide to get married, in a discreet ceremony. The actor found in his wife a partner who values ​​humanitarian work, as Alejandra works in a foundation that fights for the eradication of homelessness in Spain.

The actor also stated, “I am the happiest man in the universe. How could it not be? I am married to a beautiful woman, intelligent, sensitive, committed to helping people, fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, a great cook, who prepares the best salads in the world! Furthermore, Alejandra has nothing but praise for her husband: “He is the most humble, sensitive, affectionate, attentive, fun and generous man I have ever met. What can I say? I’m so in love! Both were going through a divorce process when they met again after a long time. And despite the difference of 20 years, that was not an impediment to love and support each other, in order to overcome difficulties. Alejandra commented in this regard: “Love stories with a complicated beginning, in which the two together have to overcome difficulties, can bring them closer. I’m sure I had doubts at some point. At first he was more convinced than I was. But from the start we felt we were meant to be together.”

In 2019 they welcomed a boy to the world they named Alexander. The two already had children from their previous marriages. And in 2020 they announced the birth of a second baby. Currently, they all live together on a rural property in New York, where they spend time together and in complete privacy.

Already mature, Richard Gere proved that love can knock on your door at any time in life. And by finding his ideal companion in Alejandra Silva, he was able to show his caring and attentive side, and the obstacles faced in the past, were now overcome more easily by showing his affection all the time.
