But thanks to a survey by the University College London, it was concluded that approximately 66 days are required. The number of days varies little between participants and depends on your interest, your skills and perseverance to achieve it. One key factor it is the difficulty of the habit itself, since the effort is not the same for all objectives, for example: it is easier to add fruit to the diet than to practice sports every day.

To analyze this process, we surveyed96 volunteers who chose one healthy behavior food, exercise or care. These people had to carry out the activity chosen by 84 days and, at the end of the study, it was concluded that the more a behavior is repeated, the greater the automaticity with which it is carried out. You acquire a new habit when it becomes routine, something you do without thinking, without work and willpower.
