How I defined my shoulders without exercises – GOOD FORM

Some people avoid doing exercises for the shoulder area for fear of making the appearance of broad shoulders. And to these people I only say one thing: I wish. I’ve always wanted to have broad shoulders because I think it’s beautiful but, not having that bone feature (because yes, what defines the width of your shoulders are the bones, not the muscles), I focused on, at least, defining what I have.

That’s because having broader shoulders actually makes your body look more proportionate, creating a larger line at the top and smaller at the waist. If you add to this a commitment to define the hips, you can even achieve the “guitar” look, so desired by so many women (and which we teach you how to achieve here).

That’s why, when I was offered to test the CMSlim at Vanite Clinica device that can be used on almost any muscle in the body for definition, I soon chose the shoulders.

WHAT IS CMSlim

EXPERIENCE

The proposal was that I do 8 sessions of the device, 2 per week, with intervals between them (just like after a workout at the gym, the muscle needs a break to rest), totaling one month.

During that time, I stopped training the region in the gym to get the full idea of ​​the impact of CMSlim.

I must say that I had already tested the device in other regions (on the buttocks, as I tell you here) and I didn’t feel any discomfort. On the shoulder, however, it’s a little different. Because it is a fat-free region, the stimulus is much more intense. Not that you feel pain, but you know that muscle fatigue you feel in the gym when you’re working really hard on a certain exercise? I felt it quite intensely. In the beginning, I even asked him to pause the 30 minutes so I could have a rest, but towards the end, I got used to it and did it straight away.

RESULTS

My shoulders became noticeably more defined, which is what I wanted. And it’s not just my impression. People I hang out with commented that I looked more athletic. Probably because it’s a region that is so exposed (especially in this heat), defining the shoulders really gives that effect of “I’m not sure what’s different about this person, but he looks stronger”.

I measured flexed musculature before and after the experiment. At first, my shoulders were 28cm in circumference. In the end, that number went to 29.5 cm.

That was the part that impressed me the most. I always had a lot of trouble doing shoulder exercises. I do it on an assisted machine and, even so, my maximum load was 5kg, with 3 series of 9 repetitions suffered. At the end of the month, when I got back on the machine, I was doing 3 sets of 12 reps each, with a weight of 7.5kg. All this without having trained the region in the meantime.
