Homemade and healthy recipes for your dog

Did you know that one simple and nutritious meal can it be prepared for your dog at home without too many mysteries? You should not replace rations, but supplement your puppy’s food.

It was with this in mind that businesswoman Myrian Abicair (who is passionate about her pets – in all, she has 30 dogs, most of the Yorkshire breed), created a series of recipes for those who want to please their pet. The result is the book “Cão Gourmet – Homemade and Healthy Recipes for Your Dog” (Editora CookLovers). Check out some recipes:

Nutritional Biscuit

Ingredients

4 cups whole wheat flour

· 1 cup of crushed feed

· 1/2 cup cornmeal

3/4 cup canola oil

· 1/3 cup of water

1 cup grated carrot

Preparation mode

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until it becomes a smooth and homogeneous mass. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is approximately 6mm thick.

Using a mold, cut the dough into biscuits, place them on a greased baking sheet and bake at medium temperature for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove and let cool completely.

Tip: Snacks must be kept in closed containers.

Ingredients

4 cups low-fat plain yogurt

· 1 chopped banana

1 cup of blueberries, raspberries or strawberries

1 tablespoon tahini (sesame cream)

· 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Preparation mode

Beat all the ingredients in the blender until it acquires a creamy consistency. Place the vitamin in ice molds and freeze. Develop and serve.
