How do you make a scarf?
1 – Traditional square model
You will need:
fabric of your choice scissors measuring tape sewing machine or thread and needle to finish by hand
Way of doing:
Using the measuring tape, measure the desired size for the scarf and cut it with scissors. Turn the fabric inside out and fold the entire side, at a thickness between 0.5 cm and 0.75. Sew with a machine or by hand to finish.
Check out the step by step in the video below:
2 – Triangular model to enhance the hair elastic
You will need:
satin scissors measuring tape candle or lighter
Way of doing:
Using the measuring tape, measure the desired size for the scarf and cut it with scissors. Pass the candle or lighter flame quickly over the side to prevent the fabric from fraying. Turn the fabric inside out and start folding it through the nozzle, in layers about two fingers thick. Pass the fabric with successive folds, which became a strip, inside a hair elastic. Position the fabric right in the middle, with the same measurement on both sides of the elastic. So, tie a knot. Sew with a machine or by hand to finish.

What is the best fabric for a hair scarf?
Silk and satin scarves are the most famous, but they tend to be more slippery. There are also other options, including cotton, such as tricoline. Test different types of pieces to see which fits best, in your opinion.
How to tie scarves in your hair?
The accessory is versatile. It goes well with loose, up and semi-up locks. It appears on the top of the head or when tying the hairstyle. In fact, it can even go in the middle of the braid!
Keep in mind that the greater the contrast between the color of the scarf and the hair, the more eye-catching the result. If you want more discretion, invest in items with a shade close to that of the hair.

9 – Scarf as a tiara
This is one of the big bets. It can be combined with both tied and loose hair. And it appears in different versions: tied at the back of the neck, with a bow at the top of the head à la pin-up, with a crossed effect or volume from a knot at the top. The thick, patterned “tiara” draws a lot of attention. To avoid excess, choose discreet jewelry.
The bow can come at the top, pin-up style.
Instead of tying it at the top, you can cross the straps and then fasten them at the back of your neck.
Knot at the top of the scarf creates a stylish and voluminous tiara. If you want to join the trend, watch the video and learn how to transform a scarf into a tiara:
