for you who are sad

Hey girl, I know you’ve been crying.

I know you lie in your bed, hug one pillow and fill the other with tears, silently, so no one in your family can hear you.

I can bet that while you’re lying there with the world crashing down through your eyes, you’ve been praying and having conversations with God, asking for peace, begging for the pain and agony to stop, questioning why this is happening to you.

I don’t judge you for that, not really.

I’ve been there in the same place as you and, as this life is a big Ferris wheel, probably, at some point, I will question life again, so I can’t judge you.

But today I can tell you that the calm you’ve been waiting for is on its way.

I want you to know that the peace you’ve been asking for is being built through chaos, even if you don’t understand.

I’m gonna explain!

We go through difficult times so that we can learn from them and grow in future difficult times, finding a breath of tranquility within ourselves.

Tell God all the pain you have been through, because every time we ask Him for peace, He hugs us and comforts us and helps us to work our faith in ourselves, our trust. He teaches us to swim alone away from all the confusion, finding our stillness, our much-desired peace in his arms.

When we ask for strength, we are faced with situations that, apparently, make us weak, but everything to realize that the greatness of what we need is in our hands.

I hope, with all my heart, that you can get through this difficult time that leaves you immersed in so much darkness, thinking so many bad things about yourself and cursing the world.

But never forget that, in addition to your prayers, the strength to overcome this is within you.

Never stop believing in yourself.
