5. What precautions should I take?

Luiza points out that the basic care is the same as for all other perforations: with cleaning, friction and health conditions. For good healing, you must be healthy and eat well! As for the more specific care of the vagina piercing, it is important to avoid friction and sexual activities for at least a month after the piercing.

Hygiene must be very careful, since the vulva is a region full of bacteria, according to Nathalie. She indicates that cleaning is done with water and intimate soap twice a day until complete healing.
