Emma Stone: “Men have cut wages to match mine”

Pay equity is a subject that has been frequently addressed by Hollywood actresses. Patricia Arquette, Meryl Streep and Robin Wright were some artists who have claimed equal rights for men and women in recent years. Now, who talks about the topic is the star of La La Land – Singing the Seasons Emma Stone, 28 years old.

In an interview with OZ magazine, the Oscar 2017 winner of Best actress revealed that her co-workers had their wages reduced so that she could be paid for her work equal to theirs.

“Recently, I needed my colleagues to reduce their pay so that I could be on an equal footing with them. And this attitude was taken because they felt it was right and fair for me to do,” said Emma.
