Emily Blunt on ‘Mary Poppins Returns’

The couple moved to London, Emily’s hometown, during filming. However, she calls Brooklyn, New York, home. Emily and John were introduced by a mutual friend at a restaurant. At the end of filming, Emily watched the original version with Hazel. “She’s completely obsessed with Julie Andrews, I don’t know how she’s going to react to seeing her mother in the role,” she says, laughing. Mary Poppins Returns will likely become Emily’s second hit this year. In April, she released the terror A Quiet Place, which grossed 340 million dollars worldwide.
