Daily cleaning checklist

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, cleaning the house effectively can be a challenge. Often, the option is to choose a single day to clean everything at once, which, in addition to being tiring, can become a stressful task, since the accumulation of dirt and mess generate discomfort and, therefore, end up leaving people extremely angry. But not everything is lost.

Some tasks, when performed daily, save time and avoid inconvenience. Therefore, to organize the daily cleaning of the house and improve the cleaning, the ideal is to create a domestic cleaning schedule, or a checklist, with tasks that do not last more than 30 minutes. Check out.

Kitchen

The first step to keeping the kitchen clean and organized is to keep the sink empty. So don’t let dirty dishes accumulate and try to establish a time of day to do this, usually, first thing in the morning.

Another suggestion is to perform a light cleaning in the kitchen, wiping the cabinets, stove and sink with a damp cloth to remove the accumulation of dirt. Don’t worry about cleaning the inside of the cabinets, removing pots and pans, just clean the top and doors.

Also, take out the trash and eliminate the “problem marks”, that is, quickly clean up any stains caused by having spilled something on the floor or spots of grease which can accumulate more dirt. Leave it to mop or wash the kitchen floor at the weekend.

Therefore, in the kitchen, remember to:

  • Wash the dishes;
  • Perform light cleaning of cabinets, stove and sink;
  • Take out the garbage;
  • Eliminate “problem stains”.

WC

After brushing your teeth and washing your face in the morning, take the time to clean your bathroom sink. The ideal is always to leave a cloth or paper towel available for this purpose, kept inside the closet. Do a quick clean.

Whenever you notice remnants of toothpaste or other hygiene products on the mirror, clean them. You can use the same cloth or paper towel used to clean the sink.

Take advantage of the time you are in the bathroom to also clean the toilet, using a brush designed for this purpose. Also, use the same cloth as the sink and mirror to clean the seat, but save it for last.

In the bathroom, remember to:

  • Clean the sink and mirror;
  • Clean the toilet and seat.

bedrooms

Step one: make the bed. This task shouldn’t take more than 30 seconds and avoids the discomfort caused by the impression of a messy room. After that, store and hang clothes and objects, such as earrings and necklaces, that are strewn about. Finally, fix your nightstand: take glasses and water bottles to the kitchen and put away glasses and reading books. Don’t forget to open the windows to ventilate and, whenever possible, dust off electronics.

In the bedrooms, remember to:

  • Make the bed;
  • Store clothes and objects;
  • Organize the nightstand;
  • Open the windows;
  • Remove the dust.

Rooms

In the living room, organize the sofa, removing the objects, crumbs and dirt accumulated under the furniture. Also take the opportunity to arrange the pillows. After that, focus on getting rid of dirt from other furniture, like the coffee table, bookcase, and other cabinets. Perform a light cleaning, using damp cloths to remove dust and other dirt. Take the opportunity to clean electronic devices, such as the TV, for example.

However, it is important to remember that a more elaborate cleaning must also be done. Washing the bathroom, cleaning cabinets and appliances, washing curtains and pillows are essential tasks, however, they should be carried out more time and preferably on weekends.
