Children among 22 killed at Ariana Grande concert

A suicide bomber was responsible for the explosion that killed 22 people and left 60 injured in a suicide terrorist attack after the singer’s concert Ariana Grande in Manchesterat England🇧🇷 Witnesses say they heard a very loud noise around 22:30. Adults, young people and children who were watching the show are among the fatal victims.

The show took place at Manchester Arena, the city’s largest gymnasium, which is used for sports and musical performances. According to those responsible for the venue, the explosion happened outside, killing those who were already leaving the show.

The organization Islamic state claimed responsibility for the attack, but, according to Veja magazine, the terminology used in the message indicates that the attack was not organized by the group, but the work of someone inspired by IS ideology.

The 24-year-old singer is doing well, and expressed herself on Twitter after the incident

Manchester police still do not know if the attack was caused by just one person, or if he acted in conjunction with more people, and are investigating the case. Police urged residents and tourists via Twitter to avoid the city center while emergency services were still working.
