Cashew nut milk is low in calories and high in nutrients –

He’s the only one talked about on social media. Cashew nut milk is here to stay and not for nothing: it has less calories than almond milk (only 25 calories per glass) and is also a source of calcium and vitamins D, E and A. In other words, it strengthens bones, shields the immune system, prevents premature aging and protects vision.

Still not convinced it’s worth a try? Here goes more: the drink does not contain gluten or lactose! Another asset of this vegetable milk is its flavor, similar to that of cow’s milk. Thus, you can use it in smoothie and smoothie recipes without worrying about feeling the characteristic nutty taste – which happens in almond-based drinks.

And don’t think it’s complicated to include it on the menu. Preparing your own cashew nut milk is quite easy. Simply soak 1 cup of cashew nut tea in water for approximately six hours. After that, drain the water and beat the chestnuts in a blender with 3 or 4 cups of water. Ready!

If you prefer to buy it ready-made, bet on those that do not contain added sugar – otherwise the calorie count skyrockets and the diet can go down the drain.
