Joshua Coombes is a hairdresser from the UK who does what thousands of colleagues around the world do: cuts, hairstyles, beards. Only Joshua’s clients aren’t very common. They have no home and do not pay for their services. According to the professional, the goal is to give unfortunate people a second chance to lead a normal life. Joshua was a rock musician and 6 years ago became a hairdresser. At first, he would come out with the necessary tools after a day’s work at the salon, talk to the homeless, and offer a free haircut. These days the Brit travels the world, meets enthusiasts like him and helps people who are in a difficult situation without asking for anything in return.

The activists created their own hashtag #DoSomethingForNothing (do something for free) and started spreading the idea. Today, Joshua receives messages from the United States, Europe, Canada, South Africa, Indonesia, and Korea. He always has someone who teaches dancing for free, who gives homeless people haircuts or even helps people in their search for a job. The basic idea of ​​the movement is: “If every person does a good deed without asking for anything in return, the world will change for the better”.
