Attitude is the most powerful force for change

Attitude is the most powerful force we possess, yet we often ignore it.. We do everything possible to put it in second place, while we strive to blame others for what happens to us, complaining about all the problems that come our way and feeling like victims of circumstances.

The question we have to ask ourselves is: what attitude are we adopting towards life? Reflecting on this issue and knowing if it is benefiting us or not will allow us to be much more aware of why little or nothing is going as well as we would like. Even if we open our eyes wide, we will realize that the difficulties are not so terrible how we are seeing them.

“Resolving the life we have been given is easy in the end, we make it difficult, everything depends on the attitude”

-Anonymous-

Choose our attitude in any circumstance

We can choose how to face circumstances, at least we always have control over that.. Attitude is the most powerful force we have, because thanks to it we can change what happens to us or, at least, the way we deal with it. Do we accept or reject? Do we complain or do we get going?

Let’s imagine that we have a partner who is always complaining, so that we like his attitude less and less. We live bitterly, she is a good person but we are no longer happy in our relationship; However, there we are without making any decision. Meanwhile, we try to get our partner to change, we blame him for how bad the relationship is going, that the bond is increasingly broken.

Reading this, from our perspective, we would know perfectly well what to do. We have two options: accept our partner as they are, love them and love them without wanting them to change. We can also break the relationship and give the other the opportunity to also be happy with another person.

As we can see, Attitude is the most powerful force, as it allows us to get out of a situation that we do not like.. All of this, making a decision and changing ourselves, not trying to get the other to do it. The same can be applied in other types of circumstances. When we contract a debt, when we lose our job, when an illness appears or when a family member dies.

There is no point in complaining, crying to heaven about how unfair it is, victimizing ourselves and staying still without doing anything.. It is useless to look for culprits where there are none, to refuse to accept what comes like that, without further ado. Asking ourselves meaningless questions like “why me?”, “have I done something wrong?”

“What we cannot avoid, we can only accept”

-William Shakespeare-

Attitude is the most powerful force that allows us to be happy

Attitude is the most powerful force that drives changes, decision-making, and new directions.. Thanks to it, we can find our happiness or maintain it. Because let’s not forget that we have to find happiness within ourselves, regardless of whether the outside contributes: sometimes it will and other times it won’t.

Thanks to the power of our attitude, we can understand that there are no limits and that we do not have to feel overwhelmed by circumstances. No matter how serious a situation may be, such as losing a job or going into debt, we will always end up getting out and overcoming that hump. It is one’s own vital inertia.

However, sometimes our emotions drown out this glimmer of hope, excessively dramatizing what is happening. However, sooner or later, we will have no choice but to accept the situation and move on. Why not do it from the beginning? Why seek to feel so bad without it being necessary?

It is important that we trust ourselves and not stay in our comfort zones: if we do, they will shrink, rather than expand. If we stay in them we will see how that state of comfort narrows, until little by little it stops being “comfortable” and we feel cornered by our own circumstances.

We don’t have to be afraid of change. Changes in principle are opportunities, new beginnings, new directions. We will leave something behind, it is true. But what is to come can also leave us something new if we have the patience and intelligence to put it in our favor. An opportunity to learn, improve ourselves, mature and realize that we can handle all the problems that come our way.

Let’s not forget that attitude is the most powerful force for change. We can make decisions to get out of a situation that we dislike. We can accept what we don’t like, stop rejecting it and move on. Many times, the reflection of the future gives us a more complicated image of what actually awaits us. With the attitude we choose something as simple and vital as the way to position ourselves before this image.

A small change in attitude can make a big difference. It can turn a difficult situation into a surmountable one, and a painful circumstance into an opportunity to grow stronger.
