Indecision when choosing a tattoo often makes us stop doing that long-awaited body art. We question whether, in the future, we will continue to like that design or if we will regret it. O awesome.club wants to reveal some of the meanings of the most popular tattoos today, so that you can decide without fear of regret.

1. Semicolon

This is certainly the most significant tattoo on the list. The idea started with Projeto Ponto e Virgula, a non-profit movement dedicated to helping those facing depression, suicidal thoughts, addiction and the desire for self-harm. The drawing represents a new beginning in life: you pause (the dot), but keep going – the comma. According to the initiative: “The semicolon is used when an author may have chosen to end his sentence, but decided not to. The author is you, and prayer is your life.”

2. Ohm

The Hindu symbol is one of the most reproduced tattoos. And Ohm is considered a sacred syllable, a mantra, the sound from which all others are born. It means the combination of the physical world with the spiritual, the beginning and end of life.
