Solange de Almeida was born in Alagoinhas, in the interior of Bahia. Owner of an unmistakable voice, the singer discovered her gift for music at the age of 5, influenced by an uncle who always believed in her talent. At age 12, she began her professional career as a singer and began performing at small regional festivals.

As a teenager, he began to dance and sing in several forró bands, such as Luis Cláudio & Cia, and after turning 18, Caciques, Skema, Ogírio Cavalcante and Doce Mania. Solange was also part of the group Terríveis (from Natal – RN). Among the most successful groups she has been through, Banda G and Caviar com Rapadura stand out.

The national success came when the singer accepted the invitation, in 2002, to be the lead singer in the new Ceará band called Aviões do Forró. In a short time, the group became one of the main representatives of the market segment known as electronic forró, throughout the Brazilian Northeast. After scoring a lot of hits with the group, such as Ficando Sabendo, Correndo Atrás de Mim and Chupa Que É de Uva, in 2017, she decided to pursue a solo career, also with great success.

While her career in music was flying high, the personal life of the singer from Bahia, especially her love life, made headlines in several publications. Solange has been married four times. In 2003, she walked down the aisle for the first time with Sávio Varella, from whom she separated in 2010. With him, the singer had her first biological daughter, Estrela Sâmara.

The second marriage was with businessman Wagner Miau, in 2012. After four years together, they separated in 2016. With him, the northeastern woman had a daughter, named Maria Esther. Solange is still the mother of Rafael, the result of another relationship, and is also the mother of Sabrina, adopted by the singer at age 20.

The northeastern woman was not intimidated just because the first two marriages did not work out, on the contrary. She followed her life, until in 2017, she found love once again, when she started a relationship with Leandro Andriani. It only took three months of relationship for them to take the first step and get engaged and, after six months, they were married. Unfortunately, the two announced their separation in 2020, having still resumed for a few months, until they officially ended their marriage, for the second time, in June of the same year.

It will never be easy to face a divorce, as anxiety and fear often end up dominating the head. Solange faced not so harmonious marriages and was afraid of breaking up for imagining what people would think. “People talk about separation as tragedy, but tragedy is being in a relationship where you’re not happy. Today I do things no longer to please people, but because I really want to,” she said in an interview with SBT’s The Noite.

A month after announcing the separation from Leandro Andriani, the muse of forró assumes, on social networks, the relationship with Monilton Moura, an old passion. That’s because the two dated previously, between 2015 and 2016. “Actually, we’ve dated for a year and a half. We broke up in 2016. I got married, we were three years and six months apart… I broke up and we were reunited,” she explained.

To remarry in the Church, Sol de Almeida had to file a request for the nullity of the previous union, with Wagner Miau. The first step was to recognize and prove that she and her ex-husband are two great friends and not a couple. In the same petition, the singer also cited reasons for her first marriage to be annulled. Once the request was made, it was necessary to wait for a formal decision, which confirmed the annulment.

Even though she is a “well-resolved woman’s reference”, Solange admitted that, at the beginning of the relationship, she did not publicly assume the relationship because the two are 16 years apart in age. This caused the two to spend a period apart. “There came a time when he started to charge me not to date secretly, but I didn’t have the courage. All the result of a prejudice of mine due to age. One day we went out and someone asked me if I was his mother. It made me feel bad, you know?”, she said.

Despite this, love spoke louder and very quickly she realized that age is just a number. “Our personality is inverted, he even jokes that he is the oldest in the relationship and I am the girl. Today I receive full support mainly from older women who live in similar relationships. There will always be a gang against it, but we prefer not to absorb people’s negativity”.

The singer, songwriter and businesswoman declared that at any moment her fans could be surprised and hinted that she awaits the visit of the stork. “Soon, soon, you will know.
