All the uses of honey as a beauty treatment

The medicinal and cosmetic properties of honey are not exactly new. Many people know them and use the product to take care of their health or as a beauty treatment.

1. To treat cracked heels

Honey has moisturizing and regenerating properties, so it is a good ally against cracked heels.

For regain softness of the skin:

Put half a glass of honey in a bowl of warm water. Soak your feet for 20 minutes and massage occasionally. After 20 minutes, use a pumice stone to remove any rough spots. After drying, use a moisturizer. Do this procedure until you notice that your feet have regained hydration.

2. Improvement in skin imperfections

The enzymes contained in honey make it an excellent ingredient to cleanse the poles of the skin, eliminating blackheads and imperfections. In addition, honey helps to eliminate pimple marks.

The bactericidal action leaves the skin cleaner and it can be used together with other products, such as coconut oil, thus enhancing the properties that balance the health of our skin.

Honey and Coconut Oil Mask:

1 spoon of honey; 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.

Mix the 2 ingredients well and apply on the face. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and then remove it with warm water. Use the mask twice a week and see how your skin looks better.

3. Exfoliator

Body scrub:

1 ripe avocado; 1 spoon of honey; 1 tablespoon of olive oil; 2 tablespoons of coarse salt; if you want, add a banana.

Heat the honey over low heat and mix it with the olive oil and the mashed avocado. When the 2 ingredients are well mixed, add the salt. Apply the mixture by massaging the skin in circles. When finished, remove with warm water and moisturize the skin.

Foot scrub:

2 spoons of honey; 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar; 1 spoon of rice flour.

Massage your feet with this mixture for a few minutes, wash off with warm water, then apply a moisturizer.

4. Against burns

Honey contains many bactericidal and regenerating properties, great for treating burns, including sunburn. The only thing you need to do is put pure honey on the burned area and let it dry🇧🇷 If desired, place gauze over the burn and change it once a day until it heals.

5. Lip balm

Lip balm recipe:

1 spoon of beeswax; 2 spoons of honey; 1 tablespoon of olive oil; 2 drops of some essential oil (not necessary).

5 spoons of honey; 2 tablespoons of rose oil; 2 cups of almond oil.

8. Improves hair health

Recipe for hair mask:

4 spoons of honey; 10 tablespoons of white vinegar; 2 cups of water.

Mix the ingredients until you get a homogeneous paste that must be applied after washing. Leave for 5 minutes and remove with water. Use the mask 2 times a week for best results.
