A reminder that God is with you

Life will throw tons of things at your back that will make you fall apart. The end of a relationship, a failed career, an illness and even the death of a pet. Sometimes you feel like your life is falling apart. But in these things, there is a God who holds, heals, provides and encourages us to move forward. Every time.

God did not promise us that life would be perfect. That everything would be sweet as honey and that our days would be as light as the feeling of being in the clouds 24/7. Life really does bring many challenges.

What He promised us is that He will always be by our side as we go through it all, helping us learn and extending His hand so we can rise to conquer another challenge.

We get frustrated by so many things and most of the time we hear that voice inside us that tells us to give up on life and lose hope. But here’s one thing I’ve learned: whenever that voice speaks, God also speaks. Just pay attention to his voice. He tells you that you will make it.

He is with you when you feel frustrated.

He’s with you when it seems like nothing is going to go right.

He is with you when you feel rejected by people.

He’s with you when you feel like no one else is.

He is with you when you don’t even have the strength to get out of your bed anymore.

God heals you every time you break. He takes you by the hand every time you fall. He gives you strength every time you feel weak. He fights your battles when you can’t anymore.

And most of all, He loves you every minute of every day. He never leaves your side, he never forgets you. He is the love that remains, no matter the time. No matter the circumstances.
