For oven cleaning, Souza recommends making a solution of hot water with a small amount of bicarbonate. “You can find the substance in supermarkets or simple pharmacies,” he says.

Is the sink drain clogged with grease? Nothing better than putting a spoon of bicarbonate to heat along with hot water in a simple kettle and pouring the mixture down the drain. It will unclog in a moment.

To sanitize the inside of the fridge, mix the substance with water and a little soap and wipe it with a dry cloth. All dirt will easily come out of the appliance.

During lunch and dinner preparation, it is common for food to stick to the bottom and sides of pans. To unstick, it’s simple: hot water and baking soda. Let it act for a few minutes and then use a sponge with detergent and your pan will be clean in no time.
