17 ways to avoid and clean dust at home

Dust is caused by tiny particles of pollution, dead skin and dust mites that are suspended in the air. In addition to making the house look dirty, dust also causes serious respiratory and allergic problems, as it can penetrate the outer membrane of the lungs and nostrils.

If you’re like most women, you’ve probably been under the impression that just a few days after cleaning, your house was full of dust again, right?

What can I do to make cleaning last longer?

Changing some cleaning and maintenance habits can make your home look cleaner for longer. Follow the tips:

  • Do not use a feather duster. It simply brushes the dust from one place to another. Replace it with flannels or microfiber cloths and use a multipurpose product to facilitate cleaning.
  • Do not apply the multipurpose product directly to the surface to be cleaned. This attitude will form a “film” of dust on the furniture and will not clean it. Instead, prefer to apply the product to the cloth you will use to clean.
  • It is important that the opening through which the air conditioner leaves is always clean. Otherwise, when the device is turned on, all the dust deposited on the rods will enter your home.
