Filmmakers who put their hearts into their creation pay attention to the smallest details. That’s where they leave us their messages. This is a peculiar form of communication and our opportunity to learn a little more about our favorite universe. It’s just that sometimes it’s not easy to realize these details.

O awesome.club compiled 9 of these secrets that we can find if we look at the texts written in small print that appear in movies and television series.

At the beginning of the film, we are shown the newspaper BUY N LARGE TIME which warns its readers that the Earth is full of garbage. But if you zoom in on the image you can see the text 🇧🇷half-hourly🇧🇷 (“half-hour edit”) alongside a large headline. This means that the newspaper itself was published every half hour and was one of the causes of the Earth’s pollution.

In one of the scenes, when Mike has a diary with a computer image in his hands, you can see a small inscription 🇧🇷scare different🇧🇷 (“scare differently”). This is a parody of Apple’s slogan “think different” (“think different”). Previously, Pixar was led by Apple founder Steve Jobs, who literally resurrected the studio. So in this case, the inscription in small print serves to honor Steve.

In one of the scenes from Toy Story, you can see Andy’s wall with various awards, letters and tickets. Among them is a postcard. If we get closer, we will see that it is signed by Carl and Ellie Fredricksen, from the animated film Up: High Adventures. We ask: where did you meet?

In the Season 5 trailer, the main character is in front of the screen, which is showing a binary code. If you translate this code into English it can read: Find a hobby for god’s sake (“Find a hobby, for crying out loud”). Reading the newspaper headlines in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it can be understood that the Red Witch is a mysterious thief. 70 years later, in the movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, he reappears in the article on the Bertie Botts case.
