9 Famous Parents Who Ended Up Raising Their Children Alone

We often see women raising their children alone, but fathers assuming this role is still a very rare phenomenon, even in the 21st century. Although, lately, a trend can be observed of men who are much more prepared to take care of their children alone.

O incredible.club compiled some stories of famous parents who, for different reasons, raised their children independently. Some have decided to raise their children alone by choice or after divorcing their spouse. Others have done so after experiencing tragic circumstances.

Ten years ago, Natasha Richardson, wife of actor Liam Neeson, fell and suffered a massive blow to her head while skiing at a Canadian resort. A few days after the fall, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Neeson was left alone with his two sons, aged 12 and 13: Michael and Daniel. The family suffered a lot because of this tragedy, but in the end they managed to recover reasonably from the loss. Neeson has devoted his entire life to his children and has not remarried.
