In the world of Ideas, which is fictional and found in our imagination, love is something pure, free of all material components, and focuses on the spiritual beauty of a person. That is, it does not focus on the physical aspect, but on the spiritual. This purity, however, is not possible to achieve in its fullness in the real world, since the human condition forces us to be imperfect, to be corrupted by physical attraction, economic and personal interests. Therefore, loving someone is not that simple, and although we believe that it is “something platonic”, in reality it is not. In this sense, it can be a first step to overcome the non-correspondence with a person whom you think you love, because in reality it is not as pure as you think and, later, you will surely find someone with whom you relate much better.
