2 Sons of Francis (2005)

The film tells the story of singers Zezé di Camargo and Luciano, brothers from humble origins who achieved stardom thanks to their father’s efforts. BRL 5.9 million was spent and the production raised more than BRL 34 million.

My Mother Is a Piece 3 (2019)

This comedy, which debuted in 2019 and became a national box office success, becomes the second film with the highest grossing in the history of Brazilian cinema yet. The amount of BRL 13 million was allocated to the budget and the film managed to raise approximately BRL 143.9 million.

My Life on Mars (2018)

In this romantic comedy, Mônica Martelli and Paulo Gustavo, in addition to being the protagonists, also participated in the creation of the script. The film was one of the most watched in 2018 and, despite its budget being BRL 8 million, it grossed around BRL 80 million.

If I Were You 2 (2009)

Central do Brasil (1998)

The film portrays the story of a teacher who makes a living writing letters to illiterate people at the Central do Brasil train station, in Rio de Janeiro. Its budget was around US$ 2.2 million and its collection was over US$ 22 million.

Elite Squad (2007)

Rumor has it that the movie Elite Squad quickly became popular because an unfinished version was distributed before its release. It had a budget of approx.
U$ 5 million and raised almost R$ 30 million.

Elite Squad 2: The Enemy Is Now Another (2010)

As a sequel to Tropa de Elite, the setting for this film took place eight years after the first one. Released in 2010, it received many favorable reviews and became the most watched feature in the history of Brazilian cinema until that year — surpassing Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos, which had been in the position since 1976. Its budget was more than R$ 16 million and revenues were over R$ 100 million.

Legs in the Air (2010)

The film portrays the story of a modern woman (Ingrid Guimarães) who dedicates herself to work and does not care much about a social life. Everything changes when she is fired, her marriage ends and she meets her neighbor. The success cost BRL 5.5 million and yielded a jackpot of more than BRL 30 million.

Crazy to Get Married (2015)
