9 “Belíssima” actors who had their moments of fame in soap operas, but followed other career paths

Who doesn’t have at least one memory of the cast of the telenovela Belíssima? The work opened doors for many beginners, such as Paolla Oliveira, Cauã Reymond and Marina Ruy Barbosa, but it also had a strong team, with renowned names such as Fernanda Montenegro, Lima Duarte, Tony Ramos and Gloria Pires. Even with these striking influences so close, many of the promising young women in the serial ended up moving on to careers farther from television.

Regina da Glória was one of the characters who helped tell the story of the telenovela. Through her gossip, she recounted the events that took place at the residence of Murat, played by Lima Duarte, where the girl worked as a domestic. She was also the one who spread the neighborhood news.

However, life took a different direction for Lívia Falcão, who dedicates herself to integrative therapies, coordinates a group and trained as a Biodanza facilitator. In addition, she is also a businesswoman, partner of actresses Leandra Leal and Fernanda Boechat in a music producer that invests in the launch of new bands.

Actress Maria Flor has a striking face and has been in some Globo productions after the success of the telenovela Belíssima. However, the girl’s last soap opera was in 2016 when she lived Flavinha, in A Lei do Amor.

Since then, she has done some series work and had a cameo in movies. The actress was invited to the soap opera Um Lugar ao Sol, but ended up denying the invitation to dedicate herself to a new, beautiful and challenging project: motherhood!

Mônica Torres was very successful on Globo after Belíssima. Although she had already participated in other projects on the network, it was with this soap opera that she became a frequent name in the casts. Between 2005 and 2016, the actress made practically one soap opera a year on the station.

In 2017, however, he accepted an invitation from Rede Record to play the character Susana, in the telenovela Apocalipse. And that was his last work in front of the screens. Since then, Mônica has continued in the world of the arts, but as a theater producer.

Vitor Morosini was only 12 years old when he made his debut on TV, on the series Sandy & Junior, in the early 2000s. Afterwards, he went on to play two soap operas on SBT before reaching the small screen in prime time, alongside actors like Claudia Raia , who played his mother, Lima Duarte and Irene Ravache, the teenager Isaac’s grandparents.

After Belíssima, however, the actor did not get involved in other projects until 2010, when he was in Escrito nas Estrelas. Away from the screens, the young man became a plane pilot and lives virtually anonymously, without public appearances.

The former model and actress shone in Belíssima and everything indicated that she would have a long career in soap operas. Success came with intensity a few years later, with Império. Letícia recalls that it was an impressive projection. In addition to a lot of publicity and invitations to work, she sold many products with her signature at the time.

The actress also did some plays, film work and was even a judge on a reality show in Portugal, which was looking for new talents in the world of fashion. But, she admits that she has been looking for new professional directions. Meanwhile, she — who is a single mother — is fully dedicated to raising her pre-teen son.

Lui Mendes started on TV in the 1990s and had his first highlight in the soap opera A Próxima Vítima, as Jefferson. In Belíssima, he gave life to a sophisticated fashion photographer full of good contacts in the fashion world. The role yielded some visibility at the time, but the young man wanted other directions.

After participating in one of the editions of A Fazenda, he turned to theatrical production, but ended up directing his focus exclusively on the seventh art. In addition, he has a film production company, focused on series and films. Lui is also the owner of a franchised store for a famous clothing brand among artists.

Leonardo Carvalho spent his entire adolescence committed to discovering a craft far from art. He grew up with the influence of his parents (actress Christiane Torloni and director Dennis Carvalho), but he even tried to study journalism. He ended up surrendering and went to the theater course. For almost a decade, he was cast in several telenovelas.

However, in 2015 he made his last telenovela: Totalmente Demais. After the end of the work, Leonardo withdrew from the entertainment world almost entirely, but he still does some work behind the camera. He was, informally, the director and production assistant on his mother’s documentary — Amazônia: O Despertar da Florestania.

The young woman full of dreams played by Enrica Duncan in Belíssima may have helped the actress to embark on another career. After the serial, the teenager who gave life to Cemil’s daughter, played by actor Leopoldo Pacheco, left the country to study and came back willing to act to improve the world.

After the period, he remained at the head of a multi-cause non-governmental organization, created to unite networks, supporting activism and solidarity. And, in addition, the former actress works with a focus on female protection and empowerment.

One scene of little Toninho was enough to make our hearts warm! The boy, who was only 5 years old when he recorded Belíssima, maintains a very different routine. Even though he wanted to study gastronomy as a child, he took a different path.

Having passed the age of 20, the boy is a student of Mathematics and Earth Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Like every young person of that age, whenever he can, he takes the opportunity to relax playing video games. He usually broadcasts gameplays live through his channel on a social network.
