No relationship has the need to face challenges, but it happens naturally in a couple’s life.

It is a recurrence of our human condition, of our insecurity, of our lack of wisdom, of our human immaturity. But since everything has a positive side, challenges make us step out of our comfort zone — and that’s good! It is at this time that two paths are pointed out to us and then we need the wisdom to know how to choose/act correctly.

Today we brought the 8 love challenges every couple will face — if not already experiencing:

1. Accept the differences

The secret to overcoming differences is demonstrate love. It is through love that we break barriers and overcome obstacles. It is with love that we learn to respect. Love should not be confused with passion, much less with little hearts emojis or Facebook likes.

It’s good to remember that love is in actionsin attitudes, and not in written words, in messages, in lip-service “I love you”.

2. Overcome the challenges

When you challenge yourself with love, everyone comes out victorious. This is a fight in which there is only conquest if both emerge victorious. When we are challenged in love, we have a chance to improve our actions and become more human people.

3. Know how to forgive

The main secret of healthy relationship is to build it with love and respect. No one can (and shouldn’t) agree 100% with the other. And knowing how to say no, knowing how to respect the opinion of the other, is essential.

Therefore, no matter how complicated the issue is, or the distemper, never, under any circumstances, sleep fighting with your partner. Asking forgiveness and knowing how to forgive is inherent to good coexistence.

4. Learn to trust

To love is to act with tolerance, but especially to act wisely, for yourself and for the other. Wisdom also resides in recognizing the virtues of the other. It is necessary to establish dialogue and sincerity. It is necessary to trust and pass confidence.

It is not through the cry that the other hears us, but through understanding and love.

5. Be loyal

do not abandon the loyalty and faithfulness; always keep them well engraved in your heart. When you think about love tests, they all require loyalty, it is through this that couples demonstrate their true value and the value they place on their partners.

Loyalty demands sincerity with ourselves. It also demands total fidelity to the partner we choose to love.

6. Courage

all relationship true requires the courage to make many sacrifices for the other person, and they are not few, because love is in actions and not in the promises that come out of the mouth, but which were never in the heart.

The sacrifices are many and they are not easy to fulfill, however, they are essential, such as offering your best to the loved one, or even the sacrifice of abandoning pride for the happiness of the relationship.

7. Partnership

Many people are in serious relationships, but few couples have complicity and partnershipthis is a test that every couple needs to pass in order to have happiness in their relationship/marriage.

8. Patience

Life demands that we go beyond our limits, and in Corinthians 13 we learn about the supreme excellence of love. It’s like saying: you can do all things, but you must conquer through love and understanding.
