7-year-old trans girl is on the cover of ‘National Geographic’

In 2015, Debi told the world Avery’s heartwarming story in a video that went viral on YouTube. Recently, she shared on @transgirl_mom a photo of the latest issue of National Geographicwhich features an image and quote of his daughter on the cover.

Avery graces the special subscriber cover of the January issue of National Geographic. For the first month of 2017, the magazine prepared a special edition, called “Gender Revolution“, addressing stories like this family’s.
