God, I pray for wisdom from what I don’t understand, what I don’t see, what I can’t understand. I pray that the Lord will give me answers – maybe the ones I’m looking for, or maybe the ones I didn’t even know I needed – but answers that show me His way and His truth. Show me that the Lord will never leave me and remind me that everything will work out according to His plan.

God, please take away my doubts and show me the world through Your eyes. Fill my spirit with the knowledge of what is to come and remind me that I need not fear. For I am yours.

Jesus, I pray that You will still all my thoughts and calm my mind that is confused and turbulent right now. Take each of those unnecessary thoughts and throw them away. Remove all negativity and replace it with trust and love. Erase all doubt, anxiety and show me the power of Your Holy Name.

I pray that the Lord will take my racing heart, my sweaty hands, my brain that is continually overthinking and give me peace. Peace to understand that there are things I cannot change. Peace to accept his promise instead of trusting in the fickleness of this world. Peace to put aside my pain and replace it with faith. Peace to stand firm in You.

Prayer of strength and faith

Father, I pray that You will replace my worry with perseverance, my doubt with boldness, my uncertainty with absolute confidence.

Instead of questioning, help me to trust that you are with me. Instead of waking up with yesterday’s pain, remind me that the past is the past and I’m always renewed with his love. Instead of a racing heartbeat, please help mine to beat steadily as I walk in his ways.

I ask for strength instead of weakness; I ask for more of his presence in my life.

God, please take my bruised ego, my shattered heart, my turbulent mind, my restless soul and replace all of me with Your love. I don’t want to spend my days feeling alone, exhausted, feeling like I’m always looking back instead of looking in the direction I’m going.

I ask the Lord to heal me, help me, may Your light shine in all the darkest places in my life. God I ask you to please take my emptiness and fill it, take my pieces and put them back together. Please show me that what’s to come is much better. And remind me that I can and will overcome everything if I’m by his side.

Prayer to ward off evil

Jesus, I pray that I feel your arms around me, your warmth inside me, your promises flowing through my every cell and vein. I no longer want to live without His presence in my life. I don’t want to feel like something is missing anymore. I don’t want to think that I’m facing the world alone anymore.

Please bring safety and protection to my being, to my world.
Please show me that I’m never alone.

Lord I want to feel joy. I want to feel hope. I don’t want to live my days without You, stumbling around aimlessly and feeling all broken. I don’t want to focus on everything I don’t have. I don’t want to put all my passion into people and things that are temporary when the Lord is right in front of me, promising me eternal life.

I’m so tired of being tired, so tired of wandering around trying to make sense of things I know won’t last forever. Help me to see that true joy is with You – I no longer need to look elsewhere.
