5 tips to be more energetic when training in the morning –

If the last thing on your mind after leaving work at the end of the day is hitting the gym, the solution is to organize your schedule to introduce physical activity in the morning. To make this process easier, we’ve put together a series of tips that can really encourage you when it comes to morning workouts. Check out:

No going back to bed just because you couldn’t find your favorite top or the hair band that holds all the strands in place. To work around the problem, start separating the essential items you’ll need for training the night before. So you wake up pretty much ready.

prepare a snack
Since we’re talking about getting organized the night before, take the opportunity to stop by the kitchen to put together a snack and have it ready in the fridge to start the morning fueled. Half a slice of whole-wheat bread with peanut butter and a few slices of apple is the ideal pre-workout option.

Sleep early
Ensure a good night’s sleep to wake up more willing – the ideal is to rest your head on the pillow between 6 and 8 hours a night. “If you’re having trouble falling asleep, try doing stretching exercises”, suggests physical educator Thalita Giorgim from Bodytech JK Iguatemi, in São Paulo.

Activate your network of friends
This is the time to get on WhatsApp and message all your workout buddies. Arrange to meet in the park, at the gym or even on the street. “If you have a friend waiting for you to train, the chance of you getting stuck is much smaller”, says Thalita.

Put on the headphones
“Create an upbeat playlist to make you want to go out and train.” That way you make the moment of exercise more pleasurable – over time, the body associates this feeling with active mornings and, when you least expect it, you’ll be excited to wake up early the next day.
