Before training, you already know that you should bet on snacks that provide energy and choose comfortable clothes. During the workout, however, there is one more precaution: the way you tie your hair. Although many women prefer their hair loose, styling it makes the exercises easier and also prevents back and neck sweat. But be careful: the famous ponytail, the ballerina bun or even the braids can indeed damage the hair and cause baldness. Here’s how to get out of this trap.

1. Very high and tight ponytail
Yes, you might feel classier with this look, but pulling your hair all the way back – and too hard – is the number one cause of hair loss on the sides and headaches. Keep an eye on the elastic material, it can also cause damage. Look for those made of fabric and without any metal, which do not generate tension.

2. high bun
Doing a tight hairstyle, especially the bun at the back of your head, can cause hair loss. The movement performed at the root and the tension caused by the compression of the wires lead to traction alopecia.

3. Braid the fringe or front of the head
The wires in this region are thinner and more delicate. The trick? Do the look at the back of the head and leave the hair looser. Thus, you minimize tension at the root and avoid falls.
