5 steps to apply false nails –

HOW TO APPLY FIXED NAILS

With the items listed above in hand, it’s time to get started. The first step is to prepare your nails to receive the false nails. To do this, you need to wash your hands thoroughly and dry them as much as possible (especially the cuticle area). Afterwards, it’s worth removing all nail polish or nail polish remnants that you still have on your nails and taking the fake versions out of the packaging and organizing them to facilitate handling.

Cut your natural nails

The best length, in these cases, is short. Trim the nails and file them to even them out. Use the toothpick to gently push back the cuticles as close to the base of the nail as possible. Finally, use a suitable file to also gently file the surface of the nail – the more delicate the file here, the better.

Fit the size of the false nails

False nails come in a variety of sizes and it’s worth taking a moment to tailor them to the size you want to be. If they are too short, it is possible that they will take off too soon. Use two drops of glue: one at the base of the fake nail and the other on your natural nail. A small drop is enough, because the glue will spread when you apply the fake over the natural one. By the way, nail stickers work, but they tend to last less than glue.

Time to see the magic happen! Position the nail just above the cuticle and press down. The ideal is to use the toothpick to prevent the glue from escaping and your fingers from sticking. Press for 10 seconds before moving on to the next finger.
