The bible teaches us that when we have faith and put our trust in God, He will be with us. He answers our prayers and gives us peace.

Here are some verses about faith that speak of God’s good and loving nature and the promises He has made to us in His word when we have faith.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the Gentiles; I will be exalted above the earth.

John 8:24 Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins, because if you do not believe that I am, you will die in your sins.

We all have problems in this world. We live in a fallen world.

But the good news is that God promises us that we have already won the victory through our faith in Jesus Christ. We can be encouraged by the promises found in his word.

Verses about Faith and Courage When Things Are Difficult

There will be times when our faith will be tested, and staying in the faith can seem difficult. If we look to Him for strength, however, He will help us in our trials.

Verses about Faith in Action

When we are saved by faith in Christ, we should feel compelled by Jesus’ sacrificial gift of love to give to others as well. After all, the Bible says that faith without works is dead.

My faith didn’t remove the pain, but it helped me get through the pain. Trusting in God did not lessen or make me overcome the anguish, but it allowed me to endure it. Robert Rogers

James 2:14-26 What good is it, my brethren, for someone to say that he has faith, if he does not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is in need of daily clothing and food and one of you says to him, “Go in peace, warm and feed yourself until you are satisfied,” without giving him anything, what good is that? ? So also faith, by itself, if it is not accompanied by works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have works”. Show me your faith without works, and I will show my faith by works.
