The carpet of blue flowers covers Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki. The flowers, which are nicknamed “baby blue eyes”, appear in late April and then gradually lose their color.

The flowers can be found all over Japan, but Hitachi Seaside Park is where they are most popular. Every year, more than 4 million of them cover the park and create a stunning landscape that attracts many people. One of the best places to see them is called Miharashi Hill.

As it is a huge park, which holds many flowers, it is almost impossible to take the perfect photo that shows all the beauties of the place. This magical garden is just a train ride from Tokyo.
