No matter how tidy you are, can’t you see a camera that runs away? Since you can’t avoid the clicks – and it’s not even nice to do that, because keeping good memories is something valuable – surrender to them. Learn with Tatiana Barreto, from the Technical Course in Photographic Processes at Senac.

1. Distorted face
No close-up shots. When we take pictures of ourselves we end up distorting our features. Thus, we become more nosy, testudas, cheeks. Ask someone to take the photo.

2. chubby arm
To end up with a chubby arm, don’t leave it leaning against the body, or forward. Shoulders and arms always back!

3. Right pose
Place your hand on your waist. Eventually both hands. It looks beautiful!

4. Escape common poses
Practice in front of the mirror new positions for your face, body, as well as your look and attitude, to look natural.

5. Much thinner
Forget pictures taken from the bottom up.

6. Teston, no!
Top-down photos enlarge the forehead, be careful!

7. On the side
Full frontal photos can devalue your body, stand slightly to the side.

8. Drunk, me?
If you’ve had a little drink, run away from the cameras!

9. Look at the posture!
Keep your back straight, belly in and chest out. It improves everything.

10. Bet on what
you like it If hair or a smile are your forte, play with them in the photo.

11. Don’t force a situation
The more value you place on yourself, the better the result. Don’t insist that the photos happen when you want them to.

12. At the table
If you’re first at the table, sit slightly facing away from the rest rather than leaning your whole body to the side.

13. Football team
If the photo is with the whole family, propose a game: each one takes a different position. No looking like a football team.

14. Forget your best side
Test the “bad side” with one hand on your hips or a different pose.

15. Playing Model
You don’t have to be Gisele Bündchen. Face it cool and leave your self-criticism aside. Taking pictures is fun, not torture!

16. I want to pee
One leg in front of the other can make it look like you’re cramped for the bathroom. Align your legs next to each other. Leave one straight and the other slightly bent. Move your hips slightly to the side.

17. Scared
When smiling, be careful not to widen your eyes or make them too closed. Gets ugly.

18. Sexy or vulgar?
Beware of sexy photos. Be sexy in attitude, without making too many faces and mouths.

19. Relax your lips
A tip to relax your lips is to pronounce “brrrrrr” before smiling for the click. Do it covertly.

20. Fat face
Leave your face higher, so you avoid the double chin.

21. Get rid of dark circles
Turn your face towards the light, so as not to create a shadow around your face and get dark circles under your eyes.
