20+ Works here in Brazil by national graffiti artists recognized worldwide

Always passionate about art, they started from the bottom and today they are successful with their work in all corners of the world. Whether in huge murals, giant buildings or even in their own exhibitions, they bring out the colors and shapes that enchant at first sight.

Incrível.club will show you today the works of these great names of urban art that are present in our Brazil.

10. Alex Senna

This painting was a partnership made with the artist Bugre, made in the popularly known “Minhocão”, an elevated expressway in the city of São Paulo, which connects the region of Praça Roosevelt to Largo Padre Péricles.

This one was made for the Concreto Festival in Fortaleza, Ceará. This work was a joint partnership with another Russian artist Aleksey Kislow.

This one was made in Vila Madalena, in São Paulo. It is interesting to notice that, due to the artist’s color blindness, there is a preference for choosing black and white to compose his works.

9. Binho Ribeiro

Binho is one of the pioneers of art, painting walls even at a time when the activity was still very marginalized. This painting was made in the city of São Paulo.

The so-called “Doctor Cockroach” was made in Tucuruvi, in the north of São Paulo.

His other character “Jorge, the turtle” was drawn on a wall in Mooca, east side of São Paulo.

8. Eduardo Kobra

In Porto Alegre, he paid tribute to the great poet Mário Quintana.

The mural “Etnias” was painted in Praça Mauá, in Rio de Janeiro. It was made in time for the Olympics, inspired by the union of peoples, bringing together the representatives of five tribes.

In 2017 Kobra and his team painted this mural in Itapevi, São Paulo. Almost a year later Guinness, the book of records, recognized such a mural as the largest spray mural in the world, surpassing “Ethnicities”.

7. Panmela Castro

This is one of his oldest murals, made on Rua do Lavradio, in Rio de Janeiro. Eventually, his artwork got renewed and you can check out the result below.

Also known as “Anarkia Boladona!”, this artist is recognized for her great portraits of women.

6. Marcelo ECO

Called “O Gigante Paulistano”, this work was done at Estação Luz, a subway station located between the districts of República and Sé, in the central region of São Paulo.

This mural brings an ironic message that makes us think. It was made in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.

This other painting was done on the wall of the UFRJ Application College, on Rua José Joaquim Seabra, in Rio de Janeiro.

5. Zezão

He began by painting sewage and treatment plant walls, which helped him create and improve his iconic style that recalls the fluidity of water. This work was done at Estação da Luz, in São Paulo.

This other one was made for the third edition of the Easter Solidarity Graffiti event, in Rio Pequeno, west of São Paulo.

4. The Twins

This graffiti was made on a wall in the streets of São José do Rio Preto, in São Paulo.

This was a creation in partnership with the Plasticiens Volants group. Also made in São Paulo.

3. Skinny Mag

She is one of the leading women in the national graffiti scene. This art was painted in Ubatuba, São Paulo.

Her works represent women in Brazilian society, highlighting the daily battle in a society that is still sexist. This work was done in Diamantina, Minas Gerais.

2. Rodrigo Branco

With a characteristic abstract style, he gained much prominence and recognition. This art was made in Capão Redondo, in São Paulo.

His graffiti always arouse a certain curiosity. This one was made at Rua Cardeal Arcoverde, in São Paulo.

1. Skull

Fabio, or “Skull” as he is also called, became known for his manifesto on communist society illustrated by its famous blue Indians. This work was done in São Paulo.

He won his space thanks to his creativity and good humor. This work was also done in the city of São Paulo.
