When I was younger and going through treatment, I was like, ‘Everyone has a weird relationship with food! My mum has it, my dad has it – so why am I the only one having all this trouble?’ Many people have spoken to me about the difference between having issues with their own eating and actually having an eating disorder, and that distinction is very important.
