14 Sequence Errors in Soap Operas That Only the Most Attentive Eyes Noticed

That soap operas are a kind of national passion hardly anyone disputes. They are a sure presence in most Brazilian homes. However, as nobody is perfect, one time or another, the production team and even the actors end up failing and that’s normal. But some more attentive viewers do not let these mistakes go unnoticed.

When the character Chiclete told Maria da Paz bad news, she was devastated and said she would go with him to the hospital. She was working, so she took off her apron. Until then, the character played by Juliana Paes is wearing a printed blouse. But when he arrives at the hospital, surprise! She is wearing a different outfit.

At the hospital, she’s already dressed in a black and white shirt, as we mentioned. The actress’s hair, previously tied up, also appears loose and even the lipstick looks a little stronger.

In the soap opera Em Família, actress Tainá Muller, who plays Marina, answers a call and, without realizing it, uses her cell phone backwards. She can clearly see the camera next to the artist’s little finger. That is, it is not in the normal position for use.

In the Salve Jorge scenes recorded in Turkey, the protagonist Morena, played by actress Nanda Costa, appeared in several scenes with different “versions” of hair. According to the IstoÉ website, the beauty sometimes appeared with curly locks, sometimes straight. And in some scenes even the length and hue change.

According to the same site, other mistakes happened in the plot. When Morena gets back together with her boyfriend, Théo, they are inside a church. So far so good. The mistake was due to a detail that few paid attention to: churches are rarely open at dawn, when the lovebirds meet again.

The telenovela I Love Paraisópolis was set in the city of São Paulo and, many times, the production used a false background of office windows. For this, the team used the well-known “chroma key”, a green background in which the producers include, during editing, the desired image. But in one scene, the panes behind the villainous Gabo (Henri Castelli) went up in full green, without the necessary retouching.

In the plot of Império, the character Beatriz, played by Suzi Rego, suffered a car accident after going through an episode of prejudice in a supermarket. Upon entering the car, she leaves a bag on the passenger seat. And, despite the vehicle having overturned, the packaging remains intact in the plot sequence.

The lack of continuation of this chapter was a minor detail, but important for the most attentive eyes. When Kelly, the character played by actress Lidi Lisboa, shows one of her hands to another actor, her nails are painted in pink. Long after, when she reads a paper, her nails are already different, painted in purple.

Another soap opera that had an error in the sequence of scenes was Fina Estampa. In this case, the character Chiara, played by Helena Ranaldi, loses her balance and falls to the ground. However, at first, the image shows her lying on her back, with her arm under the sofa. Soon after, the character already appears lying on her side. She can see that, even though she is unconscious, she changes her position.

A possible lack of attention to continuity in the costumes also occurred in Velho Chico. In the plot, the character Afrânio, played by Antônio Fagundes, appears in a scene wearing a blue jacket. In the next image, this piece of clothing changes color incredibly and is green.

In a conversation between the characters Evandro (Cassio Gabus Mendes) and Beatriz (Gloria Pires) in the soap opera Babilônia, some viewers noticed that there was a notebook partially hidden between the seat and the arm of the sofa. According to columnist Mauricio Stycer, from the UOL website, the paper was probably the script for the lines of the actor who was sitting on the piece of furniture. It is very likely that Cassio was trying to hide the piece there.

The telenovela is Amor à Vida and the scene is the one in which the doctor Glauce, played by actress Leona Cavalli, suffers a car accident. She can clearly see a man on top of a wall, probably a cameraman. Despite being dressed in black, unfortunately he couldn’t go unnoticed.

In the plot of the soap opera Chiquititas, from SBT, a beautiful furry character was inserted in chapter 53, a puppy apparently of the golden retriever breed. However, some viewers noticed that, in chapter 77, the dog reappears, but it is quite different. In addition to having grown so much in such a short time, he is clearly from another race.

In the soap opera Sangue Bom, at 7 pm, the character Mauricio, played by Jayme Matarazzo, appears dressed in a white blouse with black and yellow stripes. Soon after, in the plot at 9 am, in Amor à Vida, the actor Juliano Cazarré, in the skin of the character Ninho, wears the same shirt. It seems that the costume designer of the two serials thought of the same style for the two heartthrobs.

According to the website of the newspaper O Dia, there was a significant error in the plot of A Regra do Jogo. The scene shows the actors Susana Vieira and Cauã Reymond, who respectively play the characters Adisabeba and Juliano, talking and planning an escape. You can clearly see on the right one of the cameramen appearing with just the tip of the camera.
