13 Celebs Who Decided To Give Their Children Non-Binary Names

1. James — Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

In 2014, the first child of the couple formed by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively arrived in the world, who decided to name the little one James. In an interview, the actor explained that the choice was a way to honor his father, who for years had been fighting a great battle against Parkinson’s disease.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have two daughters, one of whom has been given a neutral name. The oldest, 8 years old, is called Lincoln.

August is a name more traditionally given to boys, but it’s actually neuter. Taking this into account, in addition to the meaning of the name, Mark and Priscilla chose him when it came to christening their second daughter.
