11 Movie Characters Considered Nice, But Actually Aren’t So Flawless

If there were no dramatic events in cinema, we would only see boring films and series. But it’s one thing when a villain does evil and other things wrong, and quite another when the good guys turn out not to be so lovable.

We, from incredible.clubwe always suspect that many well-known characters are not as nice as we tend to think, so we decided to carefully analyze the behavior of some of them.

Jon Snow is shown as a hero removed from society and misunderstood. Throughout the series, he stands up for honor, dignity, and the soundness of rules and principles. Many fans considered Jon as a possible leader and even a future king. But he didn’t become one, and maybe that was for the best.

Because sometimes Jon just follows his own principles, while a true leader needs to be flexible. He is a poor strategist and too soft for a future king.

In addition, the character easily abandons his principles in favor of emotions. For example, Jon joins the wildlings and breaks his vow of celibacy primarily because of his crush on Ygritte. We can conclude that the character is more a hypocrite without willpower than a noble and just man.

Hache is presented as a fearless and courageous hero, capable of intense and deep feelings. Although at the beginning of the film he is shown as a brutal rebel, as the action progresses he charms us with his delicacy towards Babi.

But in real life, this type of person is incapable of deep feelings. It is likely that he just portrays love driven by cold calculation. We can say that the protagonist only understands the language of force. Such people often end up in abusive relationships, so Hache comes across as a calculating alpha male rather than a good guy.

We remember Jacob as Bella’s failed boyfriend. The boy is forced to settle for the role of friend, but many fans expected Bella to prefer the “hot” Jacob to the “cold” Edward.

However, the daring werewolf is not as good-natured as he first appears. In fact, their behavior shows narcissism. Jacob is not in love with Bella, but with his own reflection. The character requires special treatment and often admiration.

Jacob often shows off by walking around shirtless for no apparent reason. He is arrogant in his interactions with both vampires and other characters.

The guy shouldn’t have boarded the ship in the first place and actually took someone else’s place. Romance with a girl from high society happened suddenly and only because of certain circumstances.

Jack didn’t seem embarrassed, although that’s a common trait of young people in love. Most likely he is just a womanizer and his crush on one girl could quickly be replaced by sympathy for another. Even if Jack had survived, his relationship with Rose was unlikely to last for long.

When analyzing Peter’s personality, one cannot help but notice his deep psychological traumas. Firstly, he is very prone to self-sacrifice. The character is often injured in battles, but even knowing that he might die, he sacrifices himself for others. And this happens in almost every fight.

Peter often tries to distance himself from his superhero persona, as he thinks it has to do with his own personal issues. However, in other scenes fame pleases him and it is obvious that he likes to be the center of attention. Peter Parker has a distorted view of himself, so his actions are sometimes illogical.

Leonard is a lovable nerd in love with his charming neighbor. Among his friends, he is the most empathetic and successful in relationships. He tries to please everyone and can give up his interests for others.

However, in some of his dialogues with Sheldon it is easy to identify passive aggression, especially veiled insults. In these scenes, Leonard’s desire to be superior to others is evident. He thinks he’s better than his friends.

The boy is jealous of Penny when she gets a more prestigious job. He is also not shy about lying to his friends when he doesn’t want to comply with their requests.

At the beginning of the series, unlike his brother Dean, who is very emotional, Sam appears to be a really good man: intelligent, sensible and who avoids getting involved in problematic situations. But we can’t help but notice that the character often mentions that he doesn’t want to be a combatant against evil and prefers to live an ordinary life.

He talks about it so much and suffers so much from his superhero role that it makes his brother (and viewers) feel guilty that he is obligated to save the world. Perhaps this manipulation of guilt is what Sam is trying to achieve.

In one of the episodes, when Dean is in Purgatory, Sam doesn’t even try to resuscitate him, although the brothers have performed similar actions more than once. He explains, “Dean wouldn’t want that.” Isn’t it strange to hear that from a caring brother?

Throughout the narrative, the protagonist simply pursues Anastasia and violates the girl’s personal boundaries. He doesn’t like direct eye contact, doesn’t understand why it’s difficult for her to accept expensive gifts, and can’t understand body language. Moreover, Christian does not start a relationship until his chosen one signs an agreement. That’s a rule he’s set for everyone to make him feel comfortable.

Christian has a real illness, but not what we think. People who have come across autism believe that Christian has an autism spectrum disorder, i.e. problems with interaction and social communication.

Sam is burdened by his high position and suffers from the fact that his father looks forward to his exploits. The character’s appearance indicates the character’s softness. But good-natured Sam is not as simple as it seems.

It unfairly divides people into groups according to their origins. For example, he imposes on the brothers of the Night’s Watch his opinion that the commander-in-chief should be a nobleman and not a commoner. As a result, Jon Snow, who held a more privileged position than the other candidates, was chosen for the position.

Sam is a coward and cannot find the strength to explain to his father that everything can end tragically. He doesn’t manifest his wisdom, even though he’s really smart: no wonder he could become the Grandmaster.

Peter is shown as a responsible and courageous young man. Sometimes it seems that the art of combat is in his blood. But the fascination disappears when we see that the boy is too stubborn and often loses his temper.

In one part of the story, he is rude by accusing Edmund of lying. In the real world outside of Narnia, Peter often gets into fights because of his stubbornness.

Sometimes the character demonstrates his superiority. For example, he doesn’t believe Lucy’s story about the magical land, thinking that due to her age, the girl made it all up.

At first Sirius evokes compassion: he spent time in Azkaban and lost those he loved. Later, hopefully, he will be able to stand in for Harry’s deceased parents. But as we paid closer attention, we realized that many of Sirius’ actions did not stem from a desire to be friends with his godson.

Sirius escapes Azkaban only because he hates Peter Pettigrew and craves revenge. In Harry he sees his dead friend James. For example, in the battle with the Death Eaters, Sirius yells at Harry, “Bravo, James!”

It’s worth remembering that when Sirius was a student at Hogwarts, he and his friends bullied Severus Snape, but Sirius never apologized to him, and doesn’t seem to consider such behavior a mistake.
