When we’re in a serious relationship, whether it’s dating or even marriage, there are some actions that men do that make them different from boys.

I’m not saying kid in the sense of age or adolescence itself, because I know a lot of 13-year-old men, as well as 36-year-old kids.

Here’s a list that tells you if you’re with a real man. If this list is familiar, congratulations, you’ve found the right guy for you!

1- He is consistent

He’s always around. He responds to your WhatsApp messages on time, he never goes back on the appointments that match you and when he says he will, he will. He doesn’t disappear or depend on you to make plans. It communicates with you simply and easily – how it should be.

2- He is honest

He doesn’t try to deceive you or hide the truth from you. He answers your questions, even if they are difficult or profound, and he makes things very clear to you rather than shying away from confrontation.

3- You can always count on him

When you’re having a problem or when you just need someone to talk to, he’s there to help you get through things in the simplest of ways. He makes a point of getting involved in the good and bad things in your life. He doesn’t say that your problems are “in your head”. On the contrary, whatever it is, he will always be there to help you.

4- He is truly interested in your life and your story

He wants to know your past, your struggles, your childhood and how you became the big woman you are today. He doesn’t ask superficial questions, he asks real, deep and meaningful questions because the most important thing for him is investing in your life!

He doesn’t focus his strengths on problems or things that don’t go right every now and then. He doesn’t focus on differences or obstacles. He gets a good shot, even if it doesn’t work this time. But no matter what, if the reason for his life is you, you can bet he will never let you down.

6- He has no doubts that you are the love of his life

You are not running in circles in your relationship. You don’t have to keep asking your friends if they think he really likes you. You know he loves you because of his actions and not just the words he says, as beautiful as they are. He is assertive when it comes to you.

Whether with your friends, your co-workers or your family. He wants to meet them and is always present at their events. He doesn’t want to be known as that guy who never shows up at his girlfriend’s social events.
