Currently, Batman, the character created in 1939 by Bob Kane, is one of the most important characters in the DC Comics franchise. In the 1943 film series, the American actor became the first to play Bruce Wayne. In it, Batman and Robin battled an evil scientist whose new invention was capable of turning people into a kind of zombie. Lewis Wilson did fifteen episodes — the series had a re-release in 1965.

The second actor to lend his acting skills to this role was Robert Lowery, who today has an extensive background of over 70 films. He starred in the series Batman and Robin, along with Johnny Duncan. In this adventure, they faced the Mage, who had the power to manipulate cars with electricity and whose identity was unknown until the end of the series.

Perhaps Adam West is one of the actors best known for playing the DC superhero, as he has done so in 120 episodes of the series.
