You are my Anchor

My thoughts live on you, and since I’m good with words, I need to put down on paper what’s smothering me. I still can’t believe that among so many people, we bumped into each other and made it the beginning of a great friendship.

You are my best friend, the person I always trust. In the most difficult times, you are with me, you are my anchor.

Anchor means protection, firmness, strength and you have been all that to me. When I’m scared, you’re the one who calms me down, you’re the one who makes me face all my fears and it’s because of you that they seem to be tiny.

When I know that you are on my side and you won’t leave there I know that I won’t have to be afraid of the unknown because I will be safe by your side, in your arms and I don’t fear what will come. I fear nothing if we’re together, if we’re okay.

Life, that’s what I’ve been contemplating so well, I’ve been living incredible things by your side that I’m afraid that one day it will end.

Let’s walk around, travel the world or just be us, in a little house, watching a movie on a Sunday afternoon. Be my peace, my greatest good. I know it’s been a lot and I don’t even know how to translate it.

But when we’re together what I want is for time to freeze, when we face things I just want you to never leave me.

When we’re hanging out or just spending the day together, for me the day could get long and I wouldn’t mind you staying with me every minute.

Having you is the greatest gift of my life, and I couldn’t list all the reasons to tell you why. You are my most beautiful chance, my brunette and my most beautiful beast in the world ♥
