You know that recommendation not to repeat something crazy we saw around at home? She fits in parts here! the american Tova36 years old, decided to innovate a lot in his yoga training: replaced the rug with the wall and other unconventional surfaces.
The non-traditional way of practicing the modality requires a lot of strength and flexibility – which, from the images and videos on her Instagram posts, she has plenty of!
In an interview with the American magazine Cosmopolitan, she stated that she likes to exercise in places around her (at home, in the park, at the gym…) and to interact with the objects present there. With that thought, she innovated the belief that the wall is only for people. less experienced yoga practitioners find a support to support themselves while they are unable to perform inversions alone.

“More experienced women are also benefited: doing movements on the wall strengthens different areas of the body, facilitates the execution of bridges and helps me to improve the transitions of the movements”, says Tova.
Despite the crazy positions Tova appears in, she claims she is risk averse and respects her body’s signals to stop. “I’ve fallen headlong in some situations, but not in the really dangerous ones, like exercising in very high places”, she says. “I also don’t force myself with specific goals, like achieving a certain stretching or handstand. It’s when we’re blinded by a goal that we end up getting hurt.”
In Tova’s routine (which splits most of her day between work as an X-ray technician and a yoga instructor), she includes 90 minutes a day at the gym to practice new poses, stretch, and also some strength training. She just doesn’t guarantee that you’ll see her using the machines in the conventional way…
