Why putting a baby wipe in the washing machine saves you time and stress

On average, a person spends about 4 hours a week doing laundry. We know that modern washing machines do most of the hard work, but we can significantly improve the result of the process and save time with a very simple trick. This method is very useful for those who have pets or for people who usually wear dark clothes. Simply place a wet wipe in the washing machine before starting the cycle. Do that and see what happens.

Wet wipes help remove small lint and hair from clothing. They act as a kind of absorbent that cleans the fabric. All these particles end up on the wipes, leaving clothes cleaner and eliminating the need to pull the threads out of already washed clothes.

Put a maximum of 3 wet wipes in the washing machine. When the cycle starts, they mix with clothes and start to absorb hair and lint. To get good results, you should use new baby wipes with each new cycle.

Wet wipes should be strong enough not to tear inside the machine. Try tearing them into strips; if you can’t, they’re perfect for that.

Do not try to replace baby wipes with paper towels or small towels. The paper will come undone and you’ll just have more work to do. Normal (fabric) towels make no difference.

If you don’t want your clothes to absorb the scent of baby wipes, choose one that is unscented. You can also add a little fabric softener to get rid of the smell.
