We will have the perfect emoji to represent the ‘mixurucas’ things in life

New emoji definitions have been successfully updated! Last Tuesday (5), the company responsible for the numerous designs used on social networks, the Unicode Consortium, approved what new products will be included in the 2019 catalog. What no one expected is that one of the emojis would become a meme so quickly be the perfect representation of the expression “mixuruco”.

What was meant to be a reproduction of a pinch – hence the thumb and index finger next to each other – was interpreted in a totally different way by the internet, which loves a good joke.

Internet users saw the emoji as a great way to talk about everything that is very small in their lives, in addition to replacing a famous meme. Which one? The “mixuruco chick”, used to displace that boy who keeps bragging about the size of his penis, but it’s nothing like that.

Even with all the fun around the new emoji, updating the images also brings more representation and empowerment to social networks. Couples with different hair types and skin tones, wheelchair users and people practicing sign language will be added to the catalog, adding 72 new emojis and 230 with variations.

According to Unicode, the new features will be available from March 5th (everything can debut at Carnival, huh?), with the release of package 12.0.
