When choosing models for cosmetic advertisements, brands are guided by two main concepts: some are looking for beautiful women, with perfect faces that can be easily modified and others prefer models with defined and unforgettable features, mainly to convey originality and product exclusivity.

Even the photos that seem little retouched carry a good dose of cosmetics, which prevents us from imagining what these beautiful faces would look like without anything.

O awesome.club decided to evaluate some ads and came to the conclusion that it is very difficult to measure the potential of the advertised products, since just looking at the photos it is almost impossible to know what the models look like without makeup. That’s why we researched photos of them without foundation, concealer, highlighter or other products. The comparison is really interesting.
