If we think we should, if we feel like it, we can continue. This is our decision alone. We can think better and choose to continue what we are living, even if we don’t know how long it will last. Almost nothing we really know, right? If we want, we can continue.

I don’t care about the mistakes we made. I don’t care if you or me were the most wrong, it’s not about what we went through, but what we can go through. It’s a breath of optimism. It’s a positive vote for all the times we match, in front of all the others we don’t match that well. It’s about us talking and reaching an agreement that the right thing is to wake up together.

We can go on. We can try again. We can change everything about us. We can dive into what we have, what we feel and what we believe. Maybe I haven’t told you all the things I think about you yet. Maybe I haven’t heard all yours about me. I want to tell you more often about how good it is for me to have you. I want to tell you more often that I like the way we are, even though we are so different. Even because it’s not about being equal, but about completing yourself.

So, if we want, we can continue. If we want to talk about everything that made the whole thing fall apart, we can talk. It would be too much to think it would be perfect, it’s like believing in what doesn’t exist. But our union is what can make us care less about our flaws. I never wanted someone perfect for me, I always wanted someone imperfect like you. So we can go on.

And we can also continue because I think I haven’t made you as happy as you would like. I can do more, I can make you better than you ever felt.
