basic waterfall braid

Separate a section of hair on the side of your head (whichever side is most comfortable for you). Divide it into three parts.

Start the braid by passing the parts one on top of the other. When doing the first braid, leave the middle section separate. Select one more strand on the side of the head and make another braid, separating the middle strand again. Remember that the braid must pass in order to hold the strand that was left loose.

Follow these steps along the entire length, so that the braid follows towards the other side of the head, until it reaches the desired length. At the end, make a traditional braid and secure it.

In this case the braid will be different. Separate the three side strands, as in the traditional version. However, instead of following the traditional pattern, you will make a kind of loose knot, also holding the middle section after the braid.

Do this movement until the braid reaches the length you want. Secure it with a clip to the top of your head.

double waterfall braid

Part your hair in half. Make the waterfall braid like the traditional one until the middle of the head and finish with a normal braid. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.

Waterfall braid with simple braid

Make the normal waterfall braid, finishing it as we teach. Clip this thin braid behind your head, hiding it.

Use the part of the hair that is loose and make a normal braid, securing it with a hair elastic.

Waterfall braid with bangs with bun

A version that looks quite elegant is the waterfall braid on the bangs with a bun. First, pull the braid from the fringe until you reach the side where the bun will be, securing it with an elastic band.

Divide the remaining ponytail that is left into four parts and make a simple braid slightly loose in one of the parts. Lightly hold the ends and push the braid towards the head, forming a bun. Secure with a clamp. Do the same with the other parts, securing them all with a clamp.
