There are people who are known for having a good hand in the kitchen, but there are others who are famous because they push the known boundaries of culinary talent. And one of them is Renat Agzamov, a former Russian boxing champion who worked hard from a young age to work in his most passionate hobby: baking. Along the way he encountered ups and downs, but the result of his perseverance today leaves thousands of people amazed, as his creations of castles, fountains and characters made into cake are the testimony of a life dedicated to confectionery.

Renat Agzamov was born in Russia, in Kiev, and at the age of 3 he moved with his family to Sochi
Since he was a child he fell in love with confectionery.
His grandmother was the one who taught him and his brother Timur (also a pastry chef) all his tricks.
At age 10, he saved enough in his piggy bank to buy a blender.
During the summers he loved to earn extra money by helping out in the kitchen at Sochi restaurants.
Although he also spent some time at CSKA’s Olympic Training Center practicing boxing
Even became a champion later on
Meanwhile, his love of cooking was also developing and at the age of 15 he enrolled in a culinary school with his brother.
But his father suffered a stroke and the brothers had to take care of him.
They also had to work to help support their family.
Timur found work as a cook and Renat as a pastry chef.
He specialized so much that he ended up winning a confectionery championship and decided to try his luck in Moscow.
So he and his brother traveled to the Russian capital with many dreams but little money.
They even had to spend a few nights sleeping in train stations.
But it was worth it and he managed to open his own business as a partner in one of the great Russian confectionery companies: Fili Baker
It didn’t take long for her creations to make the world fall in love, especially brides.
He made cakes for famous people from Europe and Asia, such as celebrities, big businessmen and presidents.
His creations cost almost $180,000
Like this one he made for the wedding of Amirzhan, the grandson of a Kazakh, and Aruzhan, a relative of the president of Kazakhstan.
His story has difficult moments, but they only serve to confirm that the successes after the sorrows are even sweeter.
