4. From dating to marriage

Sarah remembers it differently: “We were friends for a long time. We had already had many dinners. we were just two people having dinner, catching up. We had taken a long road trip and things just happened.” At the time, they didn’t “believe” in marriage, but Freddie knew he didn’t want to be with anyone else after that date.

He said: “I didn’t date other girls, I didn’t even want to go out with other girls. One day she heard that we were getting married and she was going to ask Sarah to marry her. After dating in 2000, the couple got engaged in 2001 and finally got married on September 1, 2002, in Mexico.

In 2007, to celebrate their fifth year of marriage, Sarah legally changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze. In 2009, their first child, Charlotte Grace Prinze, was born and, in 2012, a boy, Rocky James Prinze.
